Frequently asked questions
Choosing Your Cleanse
Which cleanse is right for me?
The best cleanse is the one that fits your current lifestyle and intention.
• 1-Day Agni Awakening (Recharge) : Perfect for first-timers, busy schedules, post-weekend recovery or as a monthly maintenance ritual. You want a real reset without a multi-day commitment.
• 3-Day Tridosha Shuddhi (Renewal) : Ideal if you've done a 1-day cleanse before and want to go deeper. You're looking for lasting digestive improvement, skin clarity or a post-holiday detox.
• 5-Day Pancha Tattva Rasayana (Transformation) : For those ready for a transformative experience. A complete mind-body reset aligned with ancient elemental philosophy. Best when life has space for deep rest and intention.
I've never done a juice cleanse before. Should I start with 1 day or 3 days?
We always recommend the 1-Day Agni Awakening as your first experience. It gives you a full taste of the protocol and how your body responds — without a multi-day commitment. Once you know how you feel on a cleanse day, you can confidently choose the 3-Day or 5-Day next time.
Can I do the 5-Day cleanse without having done a shorter one first?
Yes — and many clients do. However, we strongly suggest reducing caffeine, alcohol and processed food for 2–3 days before beginning. Without this preparation, Day 3 (the peak detox day) can feel quite intense. The better prepared your body is, the smoother the journey.
Are these cleanses suitable for weight loss?
Our cleanses are designed for detoxification, cellular nourishment and systemic balance. That said, clients regularly report losing 1–3 kg over a 3–5 day cleanse, primarily excess water, waste, and inflammation. More importantly, the reset effect on appetite and digestion post-cleanse often supports healthier eating patterns in the weeks that follow. Please note that results vary from person to person.
The Juices & Ingredients in Cleanse Package
Why are some juices repeated across days?
Repetition is intentional. Superfood Greens appears every day because peak-Agni Rasayana nutrition at noon is non-negotiable. Sweet Pine appears every evening because Brimhana (nourishing) therapy at 6pm is the Ayurvedic anchor that makes multi-day cleanses safe and sustainable. Variation in other juices across days ensures a progressive detox arc and prevents nutritional monotony.
Why is Superfood Greens always at 12pm and never in the evening?
Superfood Greens contains Ashwagandha and Moringa — both daytime adaptogens. Ashwagandha taken at night can cause vivid dreaming and nervous system activation in some constitutions. Moringa can cause digestive hyperactivity in the evening. Placed at noon, at peak digestive fire, they are absorbed maximally and work through the afternoon without interfering with sleep.
Why is Sweet Pine always at 6pm?
Sweet Pine is a Brimhana therapy juice — dense, nourishing and deliberately heavy. Sweet Potato's complex carbohydrates feed cellular repair during sleep. In the morning, this density would tax an Agni that is still warming up. In the evening, the body is slowing down, digestive demand is low, and the nourishment goes directly into overnight repair. This is the most important positioning decision in the entire protocol.
Why is Sparkling Immunity placed at 10am?
Sparkling Immunity (Beet + Carrot + Apple + Ginger + Lemon) is placed at 10am for precise Ayurvedic reasons. Beet's betalains activate liver Phase II detoxification most effectively as Pitta begins rising mid-morning. Ginger and Lemon stoke Agni — exactly right for this window. Placed in the evening, they would over-stimulate the Vata nervous system and disrupt sleep. Placed at 8am, the dense root-vegetable base can overwhelm a gentle morning Agni.
Health & Safety
Are the cleanses safe for everyone?
Our cleanses are suitable for most healthy adults. We recommend consulting your doctor before starting if you are:
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Diabetic or managing blood sugar conditions
• On prescription medications — particularly blood thinners (Glow Radiance is high in Vitamin K)
• Recovering from illness, surgery or a medical procedure
• Under 18 years of age
Will I feel hungry during the cleanse?
Most clients experience some hunger, particularly on Day 1 as the body adjusts. By Day 2, the body typically adapts and hunger diminishes significantly. The 7-bottle schedule provides steady, timed nourishment throughout the day. If genuine hunger occurs, a small handful of raw almonds, a piece of fruit or warm vegetable broth is permitted.
Can I exercise during my cleanse?
Light to moderate movement is encouraged and beneficial — gentle walking, restorative yoga, stretching and breathwork are ideal. We advise against high-intensity training or extended cardio during a cleanse, as your caloric intake is reduced and your body is in active detoxification mode. Save the personal bests for after Day 5.
I'm experiencing headaches or fatigue on Day 2–3. Is this normal?
Yes — and it is actually a positive sign. Mild headaches, fatigue or skin breakouts during Days 2–3 are classic signs of the body releasing stored toxins (what Ayurveda calls Ama). This is most common in those who regularly consume caffeine, alcohol or processed food. The symptoms are temporary and typically resolve by Day 4. Drink extra water, rest, and allow the body to do its work.
Can I continue taking my supplements during the cleanse?
In general, yes — particularly if they are prescribed or essential to your wellbeing. Fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) will actually absorb better alongside the juices. We suggest avoiding non-essential powders and protein shakes during the cleanse so the juices can work fully.
Ordering, Storage & Logistics
How far in advance can I order?
Because our juices are freshly squeezed to order and frozen immediately, you can order as far in advance as you like — frozen bottles are shelf-stable in your freezer for up to 3 months. We recommend placing your order 3–5 days before your intended start date to allow for delivery and freezer organisation.
How long do the juices last once thawed?
Once fully thawed, all juices and shots should be consumed within 24 hours. Do not refreeze a thawed bottle. Do not leave a thawed juice at room temperature for more than 2 hours without consuming it. Please discard any bottles not consumed within your daily schedule.
Why are the juices frozen rather than fresh?
Flash-freezing immediately after cold-pressing is the most effective method for preserving live enzymes, vitamins and phytonutrients. Unlike refrigerated juices that begin oxidising within hours of pressing, our frozen juices retain their full nutritional profile from the moment they are made to the moment you drink them.
Can I mix and match juices from different cleanse packages?
The sequences are designed as complete protocols — the benefit comes from the full arc, not individual bottles in isolation. If you have a specific allergy or dietary restriction, please contact us and our Ayurvedic consultants will suggest the most appropriate alternative based on your Dosha and current health status.
Lifestyle During the Cleanse
Can I drink coffee during my cleanse?
We strongly recommend avoiding coffee. Coffee is a strong Pitta stimulant and a diuretic that dehydrates the cellular environment you are trying to nourish. If you are a habitual coffee drinker and stopping completely causes severe headaches, one small weak coffee on Day 1 is preferable to abandoning the cleanse — but aim to taper off by Day 2. Matcha Power at 2pm is designed as a satisfying, jitter-free caffeine alternative.
Can I drink alcohol during my cleanse?
No. Alcohol taxes the liver — the very organ the cleanse is actively supporting — and disrupts the Pitta balance that enables effective detoxification. One glass of wine will undo a full day's cleansing work. Save the celebration for after Day 5.
Can I continue working during a 5-day cleanse?
Yes — many clients complete the 5-Day cleanse while working normally. The most important consideration is Day 3: if possible, plan this as a lighter workday or rest day. The peak detox phase can bring fatigue and reduced cognitive sharpness. Days 1, 2, 4 and 5 are generally well-tolerated during normal working hours.
What if I miss a bottle or drink one at the wrong time?
Don't worry. The schedule is a guide, not a rigid prescription. If you miss a bottle, drink it as soon as you remember or move it to the next available slot. The three critical rules are: always take your morning shot before anything else, always end with Sweet Pine at 6pm or later, and never take Matcha Power after 3pm. Beyond these anchors, be forgiving with yourself. A slightly imperfect cleanse is infinitely better than no cleanse.
Can I continue my meditation or yoga practice during the cleanse?
Absolutely — we encourage it. The Ayurvedic tradition teaches that Shodhana (purification) works simultaneously on the physical, mental and subtle bodies. Many clients report that their meditation is significantly deeper during the cleanse. Morning pranayama, gentle yoga and evening meditation are ideal complements to every day of the protocol.
The Benefits of Juicing
What are the benefits of cold-pressed juicing?
Cold-pressing extracts juice without heat, preserving the live enzymes, vitamins and phytonutrients that would otherwise be destroyed in conventional juicing. The result is a highly bioavailable liquid that delivers concentrated plant nutrition directly into your bloodstream — without the digestive effort required to break down solid food. Your body can absorb the goodness within minutes rather than hours, giving your digestive system a genuine rest while still receiving full nourishment.
What does juicing do for digestion?
One of the most immediate benefits clients notice is a significant improvement in digestion. When the gut is no longer working to break down solid food, it has the opportunity to rest, repair, and reset. The enzymes and fibre-free liquid nutrition in our juices soothe the gut lining, reduce inflammation, and help rebalance the natural rhythm of the digestive system. Many clients report that even after a single day, bloating reduces, bowel regularity improves, and that heavy, sluggish feeling after meals disappears.
How does juicing support energy levels?
Digestion is one of the body's most energy-intensive processes. When you give it a rest through juicing, that energy is redirected to cellular repair, detoxification, and mental clarity. Most clients experience a noticeable shift in energy quality during a cleanse: not the sharp spike of caffeine, but a steady, clean alertness. This is especially marked from Day 2 onwards, and is precisely what Ayurveda describes as freed Prana — vital life force no longer tied up in digestion.
Can juicing improve skin health?
Yes — and it is one of the most visible and commonly reported benefits. The skin is the body's largest detox organ, and when the internal channels are cleansed, the results show on the surface. The high concentration of beta-carotene, Vitamin C, and anti-inflammatory compounds in our juices directly supports collagen production, reduces redness and puffiness, and gives the skin a clarity and glow that clients regularly describe as the most noticeable external change from their cleanse.
What is the difference between juicing and a smoothie?
A smoothie retains the whole fruit or vegetable including its fibre, which means the digestive system still has to work to process it. A cold-pressed juice removes the fibre, delivering concentrated nutrients that bypass digestion almost entirely and absorb directly. During a cleanse, the removal of fibre is intentional — it is what allows the digestive system to rest completely while the body receives maximum nutrition.
How does Ayurvedic juicing differ from regular juicing?
Standard juicing focuses on nutrient content. Ayurvedic juicing adds a second dimension: timing, sequencing and intention. In our protocols, it is not just what you drink but when and in what order. Our sequences are built around Dinacharya — the Ayurvedic science of daily rhythm — ensuring each juice is consumed when your body is most receptive to its specific benefits. The same ingredients, reordered, would produce a different result.
How often should I do a juice cleanse?
As a general guide: the 1-Day Agni Awakening once or twice a month as a maintenance ritual, the 3-Day Tridosha Shuddhi at the change of each season, and the 5-Day Pancha Tattva Rasayana once or twice a year as a deep reset. Many clients also use a 1-Day cleanse the day after any particularly heavy eating or drinking as a rapid recovery tool. Listen to your body — it tends to signal clearly when it is ready for a reset.
Health, Medical & Important Information
Do Yogic Juice products treat or cure any medical conditions?
Yogic Juice products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Our juices and cleanse packages are designed to support and promote a healthy lifestyle — not to replace medical treatment, professional diagnosis or prescribed medication.
We believe deeply in the power of whole-food plant nutrition, Ayurvedic wisdom and mindful living to support the body's natural capacity for balance and vitality. However, the benefits described across our products reflect the established nutritional properties of the ingredients and the experiences reported by our clients — they are not medical claims. If you are living with a health condition, managing a chronic illness, or navigating a period of medical treatment, please always work with your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.
I am on prescription medication. Is it safe for me to cleanse?
We strongly recommend consulting your doctor or pharmacist before beginning any cleanse if you are currently on prescription medication. Some ingredients in our juices interact with specific medications — for example, Glow Radiance is high in Vitamin K which can affect blood-thinning medications, and Superfood Greens contains Ashwagandha which may interact with thyroid, immunosuppressant and sedative medications. This is not a reason to avoid juicing, but it is a reason to seek professional guidance first.
Important: Yogic Juice does not advise replacing any prescribed medication with our juices or cleanse programmes under any circumstances. Your health and safety always come first.
Is juicing safe during pregnancy or for those under 18?
Pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and anyone under the age of 18 should always consult a qualified medical professional before beginning a juice cleanse or making significant changes to their diet. A structured multi-day cleanse represents a meaningful reduction in caloric intake and a concentrated change in nutrition — neither of which is appropriate without medical guidance during pregnancy, breastfeeding or for young people whose bodies are still developing. We are always happy to share our full ingredient lists with any medical professional you wish to consult.
